In this video, Glendale’s Year of Freedom is shown in action as a much-loved local tavern owner is arrested for having a pool table under an obscure old city ordinance and brought before the City Council. The City Council then repeals the law banning pool tables and sets the violating tavern owner free to highlight the urgency for citizens to get involved locally to simplify government.
